I have been wanting to try making some shamballa bracelets after discovering that it uses the same cobra weave i use on my paracord bracelets. After looking at several designs to get an idea i ordered some thin paracord and some glass pearl beads. the thin paracord turned out to be the same thickness as i use for my bracelets (not thin at all) so i then ordered some 1.5mm waxed cotton cord. This arrived and looked lovely but hey ho the holes in the beads i ordered were too small!!!! frustrated i did make some friendship style bracelets while i searched for some different beads. I finally found some beads online that stated 2mm holes, one type being the shamballa disco bead and the other glass marble beads, both arrived on the same day and i got really excited. Unfortunately the marble beads won’t take the cord despite the hole supposedly 2mm and the cord 1.5mm. the Shamballa beads however did work and this is a sneak peak at the first of many.
